Today, I pray for all the fathers. The Lord strengthen your hands and renew your wisdom. Anywhere you have been lagging behind, on the wings of prophecy I take you a thousand steps ahead.
Your horn is exalted in your house and your glory shines for all to see.
You become a worthy model to those around you.
I decree upon you long life to enjoy the fullness of your labour.

YOU CAN BE BETTER

1Chronicles 4:9-10 "And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren  than his brethren: and his mother called him Jabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorrow.
And Jabez called on the name of Lord God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! and God granted him that which he requested."

Often times when we talk about Jabez and his prayer, we make the mistake of saying that Jabez was a low class and a nobody. A careful examination of verse 9 of the scripture above points that Jabez was more HONOUARABLE than his brethren. What that means is that in his family, he was a star; the best among his brothers and sisters. He was the most respected in the entire family in-spite of his name.

One quality worthy of note however from verse  10 is the quality of dissatisfaction. Despite  his status, he saw and thought there was more to him than he already was. He saw that there was more honour outside the family purview. Beyond being a blessing to his family, he saw that he could be a blessing to people beyond his family. That dissatisfaction led him to pray that prayer in verse 10.

Whatever you are and whoever you are now, you can be better. What ever level you are in life now, is not your best yet. Don't give up but call upon the name of the Lord like Jabez did.
If you can foot the bills of  your family  today, it means that on your inside is the ability to foot the bills of others apart from your family. If you drive a car today, it means that on your inside lies the ability to buy cars for others. Never think you're at your best yet for God has arrayed treasures in you that are beyond your imagination.
You can be better than you are today!

on the 15th of June, we gather at 10pm in one voice and with one heart to fill the air with praise to our God and to receive from him bounties of miracles.
We've seen his wondrous works and it calls for praising him.

FAITH; YOUR GREATEST WEAPON

All through scriptures we see that God places a high premium on belief; Faith. There is no overemphasizing the potency and power of faith in the life of one who is a child of God.
In Heb. 11:1, the bible teaches that: "Faith is the substance of things hoped For, the evidence of things not seen."
In examining that scripture, it becomes most glaring that faith is defined by two ingredients; SUBSTANCE and EVIDENCE.
notice that both ingredients are physical and visible meanwhile faith in itself is not physical nor visible.

Substance refers to something you have at hand or that is physically available and accessible.

Evidence on the other hand is proof of fact. It is a visible proof of the existence of a state of facts.

Now, in usiing these two words to define Faith, we see that faith is activated or becomes activated by Substance and evidence. What then is substance and evidence?

As a Christian, your greatest substance and evidence is the word of God. The word of God concerning your situation is the substance you hold on to to prove that your hope for a  change is possible. It is also the evidence you have to prove that God can change your situation.

Equipped with Faith, the dev stands no chance against a child of God. Faith puts God in front even though you are surrounded round and about by enemies, you hold on to the substance of psalm 23:4 "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil for thou art with me."

With small Faith, big battles can be won. Only believe!
